Jim Newcombe was born and grew up in Derby, England’s midmost county, before transplanting to London in 2006, where he lived in Richmond and Chiswick before moving to the cultural and cosmopolitan East End. Writing and drawing have preoccupied him since boyhood.
His work has appeared in numerous publications, including Agenda and The Cannon’s Mouth. He was given the Mobius Editor-in- Chief’s Choice Award, was shortlisted for the Pendle War Poetry Competition and is currently working on a play and a novel.
